Postby t4nu » Fri Feb 26, 2016 6:47 am

Hi,
I have a table, and one of the column has field which display type is a drop down. I made the column display only. When the application run the column in that table is diplayed the return field and not the display field, while I want it to display the display field.
What should I do to achieve what I want?
Thanks in advance for the help.

Can't reproduce this in V5.0. Are there any other factors? e.g. hyperlink field etc.

No. There aren't any hyperlink field.

No, it works fine when I try it. If a field or a table column has a list, the display value should be shown when it's display only.

I have removed the display only, but now it only shows "Please Select" text.

"Please Select" means the field doesn't have a value, or possibly that the value doesn't exist in the list.

The values are exists and actually those values are taken from the same table that create the dynamic list. The values inserted to the table on the page before event.

Yes I understand that. However "Please Select" means that when the form is presented to the user, there is no value. So I guess you need to find out if the value is correctly set in the first place and if so, where the value is removed. You might try adding some logging to your scripts.
