how to create user defined function?

Hi,
I need to create a UDF which can be called from any part of the program, how to do it in Ebase?

I think it on the server.
Here is what I want to create.
I have to change every date entered in the form (user enter the date) to Julian (to be precise to julian date format that can be used by JD Edwards) , so I think I have to create the function to convert that date to Julian and vice versa.
That's the reason behind my question.

Go to form properties > Events and add the script(s) containing any shared functions to Shared Functions. You have to do this for each form that needs access to your shared functions.
