Session Timeout

In Ebase 5, is the setting session-timeout in UFSServer\tomcat\conf\web.xml still the correct place to set the session timeout ?

This setting is currently 180 which is 3 hours but my users are reporting that they have to log in after a much shorter setting.

My production instance times out after a very short period of time. I have not timed it but it seems thats its timing out after 30 minutes even though the setting is 180 minutes

Hi,

I think this is not correct.

I had the same issue. After grepping for this setting, I found it is also set in \UfsServer\tomcat\webapps\[webappname]\WEB-INF\web.xml

After setting it to the value we want and restarting the server it worked as expected.

Regards,

David

Sorry, David is correct - I mis-read the question. The timeout is in the web.xml for the web application - which is in webapp/WEB-INF/web.xml.
