Getting the number of runtime users

#1

Postby LKirby » Mon Jun 16, 2014 8:20 am

Hi there,

Is there a way in a form script to retrieve the maximum number of runtime users from the Ebase licence so it can be displayed to the user?

Thanks,
Luke

Hi Luke, we've turned on Tomcat Manager so we can see the number of sessions and max sessions. I understand runtime users are not currently available.

I raise the following post a few weeks ago

http://forum.ebasetech.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=595

Thanks

There is no supplied scripting interface to the Ebase licence. But you could load it as a standard properties file and then just get the maxRuntimeUsers property. This isn't something Ebase officially supports and there would always be the possibility that the property names might change or even that a completely different licensing mechanism might be introduced, but neither of these is very likely.
