Printing out the TREE

Is there a way to print out the tree?

Does it happen to be in a database somewhere that we can gain access, allowing us to print a report of it?

Do you mean the designer tree? Forms, Scripts etc... ?

There is no way to print it out from the designer. Not unless you press control -Print Screen.

All the elements are stored in a database, but I am not sure this will help you because it is split up into may tables.

Explanation of Tree Print Out

#3

Basically,

if I wanted to print out a manual of my application for my customer, I would like to provide a list of all databases, all tables, all pages, all scripts, etc.

This would be a list of all the elements used in an application.

I thought this would be a good thing to have so as we replicate the application from division to division, it would be easy to distribute and have the division add/delete/change the elements as they see fit.

We're working on this area in Ebase Version 5. At the moment, the closest you can get to this report is by using the export functionality - this shows you a list of all items just before it does an export. To do this, select a form (or maybe a project) in the tree, right click and select export. Fill in a file name - anything will do as you're not actually going to export - then click both checkboxes under Form Options. You'll then see a list of all related tree items. Then click Cancel.
