5.9 styles being ignored

I am just doing some testing under Verj.io 5.9 and notice that the style is not being read/used:
If within a form I select a button in the Studio and click on "Control Style" I can see my pre-existing styling:
Text: Color:#FFFFFF;Size:12pt;
Background: Color:#009900;
Border:Style:Outset;Color:#009900;All Borders:0.4em;
Padding & Margin:

However all of this styling is ignored, any pointers please, these commands are read fine in our live 5.6 system
