Re-pointing to a new database/server

#1

Hi,

Currently migrating a few eBase (4.5.1) instances to new RedHat servers and oracle databases. The new Oracle DB's have been configured, I just need to report the new app servers to the DB.

I cant seem to identify where the DB details are stored.

Sorry, noob question I know but I know nothing about eBase, just helping someone out.

Thanks in advance!

If you mean that you want to change the database connections that your database resources use, you can change it from the ebase Admin console by going to the URL

Code: Select all

http://<ebasesiteaddress>/ufs/ebaseAdmin.eb
where <ebasesiteaddress> is the actual site address and assuming that your web server is ufs.

Click on each of the database connections link and edit each connection as needed
