progress bar whilst the forms are running SQL queries

We want to display a progress bar on screen whilst data is being retrieved from various SQL within the form, has anyone got anything simple to achieve this?
I have looked at a couple of previous posts covering this subject, but have been unable to make the suggested code work

Hi Neil,

Not sure what you application does and if its Internal/External, but if it is only used to display data, then you can easily achieve what you want using Ajax/ Web services.

If you are looking to update the data as well, there might be work around available...without knowing the application it would be difficult to say

I would like to thank Jignesh and his company http://www.bespokesoftwaredevelopment.com/ for the code that they provided to us at no cost.
This gave us exactly what we wanted:
An animated gif which is displayed whilst the system is doing backend data retrievals.

I think it would be a great feature to add into Ebase as standard, at some future release.
