Run away workflow
Is there a way to kill a run away workflow. I have a task that failed but it can't set the state to completed because it's already set to complete. It just keeps throwing an error.

Re: Run away workflow
Resolved via support log.
The detail of this problem is a System Task or Decision Node that runs continuously, each time failing with an error:
Cannot complete from state: Completed
The solution is:
1. Stop the server
2. Remove the appropriate record from the workflow_workitem database table - this table acts as a "work queue" for the background workflow process. The record to be removed is uniquely identified by process name, version, job number, node enactment number. These details are found in the error messages issued to the log. Usually this table contains few records and this identification is not difficult.
3. Restart the server
