Hi, I am currently evaluating this tool as our new platform for web development. I am trying to display a simple list and I am not able to see anything. I know business view has data but when I run the form nothing shows. I have notice that just prior loading the form, there is a message being displayed, way to fast to read but it say something like that:
System has detected..... something about Javascript
Can anyone help me to shed some light on this
THanks
system error or not ?

You see that message with Chrome sometimes - the Ebase Xi system is checking the capability of the browser. It doesn't affect the operation of a form and can be ignored. For information, you can stop this check (and the message) by adding parameter:
Ufs.skipBrowserAttributesCheck=true
to file UfsServer/tomcat/webapps/ufs/WEB-INF/classes/UFSSetup.properties, then re-starting the server.
I can't tell why your list isn't working from the information you've provided. If you are trying to display a list from a database, the easiest way is to create a Dynamic List (Lists > Dynamic List), then create a form field, change the display type to Drop Down, and link the field to the Dynamic List under the Lists section in field properties.
