Set output date format

Postby Kaprice » Sat Jul 25, 2015 10:27 pm

I have a database field with date format that stored both date and time.

I'm outputting this to a table on the form.

It's for display only, so I don't need the calendar button.

I want the date to show in the table as m/d/yy.

I'm stuck. HELP!

To get rid of the calendar: select the field or table column, in properties select Date/time options under Presentation and uncheck Display Calendar.

The display format of dates is controlled by the language or more specifically the formatting language linked to the language. There are a number of ways to change the language, but I guess you're probably using the default language. In the Designer select Tools > System Preferences > Internationalization, click on the default language English (in bold) and click the Properties button. To get US format dates change the formatting language to en.
