In reviewing the basic RAD solutions, at this point I have 2 choices:
Alpha
eBase
At this point, eBase is winning because the tutorials are superior, as has been the support on this forum.
It has been suggested to me, by an Alpha user, that I should use NAVICAT to make the databases.
What is your opinion on this?
My issue is I want to have a Bee You Tee FULL report/diagram/text file of the database tables and fields. I am not as young as I used to be, and my memory is shot from 25 years of programming, so I need something to help me keep these database things straight.
What do you guys think/use?
Database Building....Suggestions.

I use Squirrel for Derby and Postgres, SqlDeveloper for Oracle, Navicat for MySQL, and SQL Server Management Studio for SQLServer.
Squirrel works against any database that has a JDBC driver available. It's not the most beautiful of UI's but it does have some surprisingly handy features - like being able to copy tables/data between types of database (and automatically handling the data type conversions in the process).
SQLDeveloper for Oracle: full on development environment for Oracle, made by Oracle. Debugger, DBA, the works.
Navicat, nice UI, fast and easy to use.
SQL Server Managment Studio...is alright I suppose.
