Button Description/Note Lag Time

Is there any way to change the lag time between hovering over a button and the time it takes for the button description to appear?

I'm guessing you mean in the designer as opposed to running forms. You can configure the tooltip delay in the designer using these three parameters in file UFSSetup.properties:

Designer.toolTip.dismissDelay
Designer.toolTip.initialDelay
Designer.toolTip.reshowDelay

These are all specified in milliseconds and the defaults are 4000, 750, 500 respectively.

This file is in ../UfsServer/tomcat/webapps/ufs/WEB-INF/classes. After changing it, you will need to restart the server and the designer to see the changes.
