Authorization import from wsdl

#1

Postby bartbaas » Mon Oct 03, 2022 12:25 pm

Good afternoon,

We have a SOAP webservice that is behind a authorization scheme (Basic Authorisation) and we would like to import the wsdl.
However we can't seem to add the authorization header in the call to said webservice. not by adding the username:password in the url or by any other means. Also downloading the wsdl to a file and importing it, results in a HTTP-401, stating an xsd (part of the wsdl) cannot be downloaded.

Please advise.

With kind regards,
Bart

Hi Bart,

This sounds like a problem in the Studio where we are not adding the Authorization Header when retrieving the WSDL.

As a workaround, you will need to download ALL the parts to the WSDL including the XSD's into a local folder. You may edit the WSDL to change the location of the XSD's... but if the locations are relative, then you probably will not need to.

I will add the authorization header problem to our bug database to be investigated further.

Kind regards

Steve
