I am using Ebase 5.9 build 2020814. I am not able to create a SOAP web service.
On the 'Import from WSDL' screen, if I enter the url of my wsdl and click 'Next', I get the error "An unexpected error has occurred".
I tried downloading the wsdl to a local directory rather than accessing it remotely, and get with the same result.
I have tried the same process with several wsdl - all with the same result. I am wondering if there is a general problem with this version of the Ebase client.
Kind regards,
Peter

Re: Trouble creating SOAP web service
Hi Peter,
You contacted support regarding this issue and the problem was related to missing XSDs in our Verj.io Studio distribution.
I gave you jar file to resolve this issue. This is only required for the studio.
Note that this problem will be resolved in the latest 5.9 release.
Kind regards
Steve

I wonder if this is related to the missing XSDs...
SOAP Web Service > Integration Resource > Advanced > Schema > Right-click 'Add built-in Schema' .. nothing happens.
Also, I've been unable to update a few of our existing web services. If I make a change to the file, the save button doesn't show, so nothing is saved. It could be a corrupt file or again related, but I've tested on 5.7 to 5.9.

Re: Trouble creating SOAP web service
Hi Jez,
I think that this is the case.
If you download the patch from:
https://downloads.verj.io/download/3364 ... ources.zip
Then apply to the Studio only by adding the xmlresources.jar file inside the attached zip to the following location :
<Verj-Studio-Install-Directory>\Studio\lib
It should be alongside the ufs.jar file (and all the other jar files) that already exists.
Restart the Studio.
This should resolve your issue.
Note that this will be fixed in version 5.10
Kind regards
Steve
