Length of FIELDS ?

I am using Ebase XI designer 4.4.1.

I create in the designer two fields, example:

var_x type characters

var_o type object

In the properties , validators , max length is limited to 255 char,
is it possible to increment this size ? , and the size limitation for
both Character and Object field.

Just click on validators in the field properties and change the value of the max length validator.
