how to make text area occupy whole area?

how to make text area occupy whole area?

Hi,
I want the textarea component to cover whole area it place on.
In the image at the url below there are rectangles with red line, and I want those parts are covered by textarea.
How to do it?

Go into the field properties and change the property "Display Length" which will widen the text area

Indeed the textarea got widen, but still the blank space exist on its right with the same width as before.

Did you add any custom CSS code ? it sounds like theres a margin or padding on either the text area or its parent control but more likely the textarea field itself.

If all else fails, delete the text area, create a new field,make it a text area and see if it still has the blank space. If it does then its probably the parent control.
