Email Accounts vs Email Properties

cornered myself in a rabbit hole and think I should stop digging.
I believe I am running V5.0.1 as indicated by the ebase designer help menu option. I had previously tried setting up e-mail via mandrill and believe was on this machine but now am puzzled with the error as well as the admin GUI options as shown from a DigitalOcean install of ebase and that on my local machine.

DigitalOcean (reports ok on click

localmachine

error message
com.ebasetech.ufs.runtime.events.rhinojavascript.JavascriptExecutionHandler$RhinoScriptException: ReferenceError: "EmailProperties" is not defined. (SYSADMIN_SERVER_PROPERTIES_INIT#31)
I blame it on age!!!!

Think I know what caused this error for me.
I copied my workspaces from an earlier install, extracted them into where I have version 5.0.1 workspaces and opened the project in this new environment. When I reach the admin console, I am getting the earlier console believe for v5.0.0.

I'm not too sure what's happened here. You should be able to copy workspaces and projects around without problem. The configuration for which server to call is in designer preferences (File > Preferences > Test Server). These preferences are saved in properties/designer.properties in the designer file system. Also a few preferences e.g. configured browsers, are saved in your Windows home directory .Ebase/designer/properties/preferences.properties but this shouldn't be causing your problem.
