Hi
What is the purpose of having immediate validation on buttons - I've noticed that forms migrated from Ebase v3.4 have the buttons tagged "Immediate Validation" even though it's not linked with onClick scripts.
The reason for this concern because when you're using button for upload - immediate validation breaks the process especially during fail on not meeting the file requirements: file size/types etc.
Best untick immediate validation on the button when you are using uploading process.
Kind regards
Josh

It's history I'm afraid. In V3.4, there were no Button Controls, so buttons were implemented as a special type of field - and these supported immediate validation as a way of providing an on click event. Since V4.0, buttons are created using a Button Control and it isn't possible to create an "old V3.4" style button. They are supported only for upgraded forms.
If this is causing a problem, you might consider creating a Button Control, transferring any scripts to this, then removing the old V3.4 button.
