Showing the Display text of a 'display only' listfield.

Is there an easy way to display the 'Display text' instead of the 'Return value' when using the field in 'display only modus' ?

The easiest way would be to use the same value for both the display text and return value.

You could also create a dynamiclist on the same (static list) data to retrieve the values you want in the way you want.

Ofcourse that would be easy, but in a lot of situations (i.e. selecting database record id's) thats not an option.

I have solved this 'problem' by using a dynamic list and the settablerow function.
