SQL Server 2022 compatibility

#1

Postby chayward » Wed Feb 08, 2023 11:41 am

Hi,

I previously posted the question in this forum as to whether Verjio is ok to use with SQL Server 2019, for on-prem database use.
Your reply was that it is fine with SQL Server 2019.

Could I now ask the same question about SQL Server 2022?

I realise that this version of SQL Server has only fairly recently been released by Microsoft, so it may be that the repository databases would need to be set into 2019 compatibility mode. Please could you say whether that is the case?

Thanks.
Regards,
Chris Hayward.

Hi Chris

The answer is the same in relation to SQL Server 2022 as I answered in your post regarding SQL 2019 Compatibility

My advice would also be the same when applying the latest JDBC driver. I would upgrade to the latest Microsoft JDBC driver released for this version. Although I would expect that the older drivers to be backwardly compatible.

Microsoft JDBC Driver

Thanks
