We are currently running Verj.io 5.5.1 and we are looking to upgrade to 5.6.
The plan is to build a new Windows server and migrate the Verj.io instances to this and then rename the server to match the original server name.
Do you see any issues carrying out the upgrade via this route?
What Windows OS can we move to, currently the server hosting Verj.io is running Windows Server 2012?

Re: Support for the latest version of Windows server
There are no restrictions that we are aware of running the latest Windows versions.
Your plan of renaming the servers sounds OK to me, but might cause problems if you have anything that refers to the server by name or IP address e.g. IIS?

Re: Support for the latest version of Windows server
Thanks Jon, we will go with Windows Server 2019 then.
The end game is to rename the new server back to the original live Verj.io server name with the same IP address, so hopefully we will be able to maintain the same firewall holes between servers and IIS configurations.
Thanks
Neil
