Change in the versioning convention for the Ebase Software

Important Announcement! We would like to announce a change in the versioning convention for the Ebase Software:

Base Version
Ebase Version will now simply be: '3.4.0' and not 'Version 3.4 Service Pack 0'

Service Pack
A Service Pack is the suite of changes applied to a Version. e.g. Service Pack 01102007 of version 3.4.0. An installation document explains to users how to apply a specific Service Pack. Once applied, the result is a Build.

Build
A build is a runnable instance of Ebase. The word 'Build' only appears within the 'About Ebase' dialogue box of the Ebase designer. e.g. 'Ebase Version 3.4.0 Build 01102007'.

This new naming convention is effective starting from Ebase Version 3.4.0 Build 01102007.

Please post any questions you have regarding the new naming convention in a separate thread.

Thank you.
