Setfocus FPL command

I have a table hyperlink column.

When the user clicks on the hyperlink, the FPL does some processing and shows (unhides) a tab set on the same page (below the table).

I want to setfocus to a one of the filelds in the tabset below which has just been displayed by the FPL. But, when I run the "setfocus" command in the "On Click" event for the table hyperlink, I can see the command being executed, but the focus is not set to the required field.

I know cliking on a table hyperlink, sets the current row, but I want the focus to move to a field below.

Has anyone done this before?

This sounds like a bug Jig, assuming that javascript is enabled.
What version of Ebase are you running?

Sorry for the dely in getting back to you. I did not get a reply notofocation for your post! Looks like I need to check my account settings

Anyways, the Ebase version I am using is Ebase 4.2.1 Build 20110819.

Hello Jig,

I am copying our response to the log you raised in the portal here so anyone else who experiences this will know the outcome.

"This is a bug - the setfocus command doesn't work when issued from any sort of table event. We can't see any workaround for this.

We'll fix it in the next service pack (both V4.2 and V4.3)."
