Time notation

#1

Postby user_oss » Tue Aug 03, 2010 9:39 am

By default right next to fields of type "Time" the following time notation is shown: HH:mm:ss.

This notation turns out to be confusing for many users. Is it possible to change the notation into HH:mm for example? How can this be accomplished?

Unfortunately there is no way to change the time notation.

If the display is a problem, one possible way to get around it is to use a character field instead of a time field and set the time the user enters into your time field in FPL.

Thanks for your reply.

I was told by Ebase Customer Support that only in version 4 of Ebase one has full control over this text.

Yep, my post was assuming you were not in version 4. Version 4 will give you control over it.
