Charts in Ebase

Am currently looking incorporating charts in ebase. I have read the previous post

Based on the idealogy in that post, I managed to drive charts using Open Flash Charts. But it involves a lot of data preparation as the charts accept JSON.

Has anyone done a chart application via Ebase?
Would using Adobe Flex help or any other charting application?

Granted Ebase v4 is now out, would it be any easier setting up charts in it?

The Jfreechart example given by the link works quite well and does not require JSON.

The same example will also work in Version 4. In the future we will be looking to add new controls, one of which may be a graph control.
