Do you only want a algorithm?
Should the passwords be changeble via the designer?
What have you tried yourself?

As for an algorithm using Google I found the following interesting articles:

Please do keep us posted on your completed solution.

Have you found a solution?

Although there is no default feature in Ebase that gives you this, you can write your own custom function to do this.

I have written a custom function that generates a random alphanumeric string. You can pass to it the number of characters you would like it to have.

Please let me know if you would like me to send this to you.
