How to import an Ebase form into JEE application

Hi All,

We are developing a webportal in JEE to easily grant access to Ebase-forms for the users.

In the portal we can manage the authorizations of the different forms. Only we ran into a problem. We want the Ebase-form
to be a part of the portal, and try to achieve it like this:

But this isn't going to work because Ebase performs a browser-check, and rewrites the URL so we get a 404 error.

So our question is:

Has someone successfully imported a Ebase-form in a Java application without using frames?

We hope someone can give us useful tips!

You can switch off the Browser Check within Ebase by adding the following entry in your UFSSetup.properties file :-

Ufs.skipBrowserAttributesCheck=true

This may be useful in an environment where you can be sure that any browser accessing your form can support Javascript, CSS etc i.e within an Intranet.

Does an ebase-form behave as it should when it is embedded in a JSP?

Using an IFrame is the only way to do this as Ebase generates its own HTML, Body, and Head tags.

Unfortunately it is not the ideal solution. But at the moment it is the only working solution. Thanks for your comment Wai
