Is there any documentation with the system requirements for Ebase version 4 or 4.1?

I did not find such documentation.

There is no published specific information.

In general, you can expect V4.0 to use more memory than V3.4, and V4.1 to use more memory than V4.0. This is true for both the server and the designer. This increase in memory is caused by the extra memory requirements for the properties of all the controls on each web page. I don't have any details that quantify how much additional memory is required and in practice, it will probably vary based on the complexity of individual web pages.

At present, Ebase Development are working on a completely new state model and this should dramatically reduce the server memory requirements to levels significantly below those required for V3.4. Our intention is that with this new model, it will be possible to support much higher transaction and concurrency levels than has been possible in the past. This development is currently on schedule to be released at the end of June. At the moment, our intention is to release this change as a service pack for V4.1.

Other than memory requirements, other system requirements for V4.0 and V4.1 should be very similar to those for version V3.4

Ebase V4.2 has now been announced and this includes the new state model discussed. We decided to release this as a new version instead of a service pack because it entails extensive internal changes.

Early indications are that this version uses much less memory then all previous versions. In particular, V4.0 and V4.1 users are recommended to upgrade to this version.
