ebase 5 decimal digit error using dot

#1

Postby xren » Mon Feb 22, 2016 4:47 pm

Hi,

I have numeric fields on form and allow 1 decimal digit after upgrade,
the form shows the decimal dot as comma.
And if I used dot, the system does not take it as valid number, then after I used comma for the decimal dot it is ok.

I wonder if there is anything wrong? how can we continue to use dot instead of comma?

Thanks,
Xiaoli

The dot/comma choice is controlled by the formatting language associated with the runtime language. You probably want this set to EN which is North American i.e. use dot for decimal point. Can you check your language settings, particularly the default language and which formatting language is associated with it.

If you've upgraded, you can use any valid userid (that you used to use in V4 to connect to the designer). If you have a problem with one of these, you can explicitly add the userid to sysAdmin.properties in the ebaseConf folder.

If you've done a fresh install of V5 and forgotten your password, you should contact support who can tell you how to reset it.
